Obituary for Bobbie Lee Broussard (Healer)

Bobbie Lee Healer Broussard, 88, a resident of Lake Charles passed peacefully from this life on May 15, 2017 in the comfort of her own home.

Bobbie was a Certified Nurses Aide for 30 Years. She possessed a strong faith and knew Jesus as her Lord and Savior. Mrs. Broussard enjoyed spending time with her friends, dinning out, shopping, and in her younger years bowling and playing basketball. She will be long remembered as a kind, loving and generous person.

Mrs. Broussard is predeceased by her husband Maxie Broussard and parents John L. Healer and Ruth Marie McKinney Healer, and niece, Michelle Healer.

She leaves to cherish her memory her brother, Bill Healer and wife Bernice of Pasadena, TX, nieces, Kathy Fox and Donna Christianson, her nephews, Harland, Garland, and Kevin Healer, and her dear a friend of over 36 years, Leah Ledkins.

Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family on Friday, May 19, 2017 from 12 PM until time of service. Funeral services will be held at 2 PM in the chapel of Lakeside Funeral Home. Pastor Greg Simien is to officiate. Burial will follow at Consolata Cemetery.
